Is this a good deal for a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe SE?
This is what they are giving us
24150 - 2500 (mfg rebate) - 750 (loyalty rebate) = 20,900
We have a trade in valued at $6000 - but payoff is 7780
Calculation for total loan - 20900 - 6000 (trade-in) + 7780 = 22680

I agree with the 1st post, you can do much better. You have only lowered the MSRP by using rebates that are paid to the dealer anyway, where's your negotiation to lower the price? I agree that you should be able to get a minimum of $1000 and maybe even $2000 additional price decrease. You should also check nada.com and kbb.com to see if you are getting a fair value on your trade in. If you want to save even more money you could look for a 2007 Santa Fe with 20,000 miles on it and probably save another $5000-$7000.
