Past jobs part one: Vancouver International Airport

I want to talk about some of the past jobs I’ve done as a way to cover some popular topics in the residential and commercial automation world. Unfortunately, due to privacy issues, I can’t really go into too much detail for many of these jobs, especially for the residential jobs.
As a young and eager Crestron programmer two years back, I started my first job at the executive boardroom of the Vancouver International Airport . Unfortunately, I didn’t start the job from the beginning but I did get a very good understanding of the Extron MAV switchers and a little about how Biamp processors work.
As you can tell, the system was pretty basic. 6 Mitsubishi displays, a Christie projector, a DVD player, multiple PC inputs throughout the boardroom table, and a satellite TV feed. There are also mic inputs in the table for each chair. Mixed by an audia flex Biamp processor. I belive it has a Crestron Pro2 and a Pac2 for lighting.
